The AirTurn Ped is a lightweight and less-expensive version of the AirTurn Duo. It weighs about 40% less, and is smaller. So, why is it less expensive? Does it do the same stuff? The biggest difference is in the "feel" of the switch.  The AirTurn Ped is a touch-silent pedal that uses a light press to actuate — it works like the button on a microwave. You will want (need?) to use hard-soled shoes for best results.

Anyway, this type of device is a must-have when you're using your tablet as a music reader. A bluetooth footpedal enables you to flip forward and backward in your score, hands-free.
