No many how big your family is or how many you plan to camp with -- Series 3 has a size that's perfect for you. Let's look at all the 5 different sizes of Series 3 and the difference between them.
1200 (Extra Small) - This is the smallest and the lightest size. It weighs 110 lbs and can accommodate 2 people. This size is perfect for small SUVs.
1400 (Small) - This is the most popular size of all 5 sizes. It weighs 130 lbs and can accommodate 2 people. However, It is bigger and more spacious than 1200 (Extra Small).
1600 (Medium) - This is a size that's perfect for small families. It weighs 149 lbs and can accommodate 2 adults and 1 Child. Also, It requires the support of at least 3 load bars.
1800 (Large) - This size is perfect for big families. It weighs about 172 lbs and can easily accommodate 3 adults and 2 small children at once. It also requires the support of at least 3 load bars.
2200 (Extra Large) - If you often go on Overlanding trips with a group of friends then this size is perfect for you. It weighs 215 lbs and can accommodate 4 adults comfortably. It will require the support of at least 4 load bars.
